{"id":820,"date":"2023-12-28T11:22:00","date_gmt":"2023-12-28T11:22:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.weandmecfs.org\/?p=820"},"modified":"2025-12-11T08:52:38","modified_gmt":"2025-12-11T08:52:38","slug":"johadamis-me-cfs-forschungsstipendium-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.weandmecfs.org\/de\/johadamis-me-cfs-forschungsstipendium-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Johadamis ME\/CFS Forschungsstipendium 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wir freuen uns, die Empf\u00e4nger des Johadamis ME\/CFS-Forschungsstipendiums 2023 in H\u00f6he von 100.000 \u20ac f\u00fcr das Projekt &#8222;UNRAVELING ME\/CFS&#8220; bekannt zu geben:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Rolle versteckter Virusinfektionen im peripheren Blut und im darmspezifischen lymphatischen Gewebe in der Pathogenese von ME\/CFS (Myalgische Enzephalomyelitis\/Chronisches Ersch\u00f6pfungssyndrom) &#8211; eine kontrollierte Querschnittsstudie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bei vielen Patienten kann der akute Ausbruch von ME\/CFS auf eine Virusinfektion zur\u00fcckgef\u00fchrt werden. Die derzeitigen wissenschaftlichen Erkenntnisse \u00fcber die Rolle versteckter oder zur\u00fcckliegender Virusinfektionen bei ME\/CFS sind jedoch unzureichend, um die Pathogenese der Krankheit zu verstehen, objektive diagnostische Biomarker zu identifizieren oder gezielte Therapien zu entwickeln. Besonders unterrepr\u00e4sentiert in ME\/CFS-Studien ist bisher das darmspezifische lymphatische Gewebe des D\u00fcnndarms, das gr\u00f6\u00dfte lymphatische Organ des menschlichen K\u00f6rpers und ein potenzielles Reservoir f\u00fcr Krankheitserreger.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ziel der kontrollierten Querschnittsstudie UNRAVELING ME\/CFS ist es daher, die Rolle versteckter oder zur\u00fcckliegender Virusinfektionen im darmspezifischen lymphatischen Gewebe in der Pathogenese des ME\/CFS besser zu verstehen.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In dem von Dr. Max Augustin und <a href=\"https:\/\/www.infektionen.wien\/ueber-uns\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Univ.-Prof. Dr. Alexander Zoufaly<\/a> geleiteten Projekt wird in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Neurologen <a href=\"https:\/\/www.neurostingl.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr. Michael Stingl <\/a>und der 4. Medizinischen Abteilung der <a href=\"https:\/\/klinik-favoriten.gesundheitsverbund.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Klinik Favoriten <\/a>(Leitung: Univ.-Doz. Christoph Wenisch) sowie der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfu.ac.at\/de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sigmund Freud Privatuniversit\u00e4t<\/a> eine Biobank mit professionell aufbereitetem Biomaterial (Blut, Darmschleimhautbiopsien) von ME\/CFS-Patienten und gesunden Kontrollpersonen aufgebaut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im Rahmen dieses gro\u00dfen internationalen Kooperationsprojekts werden Biomaterialien und klinische Daten mit Assoc. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engineering.cornell.edu\/faculty-directory\/iwijn-de-vlaminck\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prof. Iwijn de Vlaminck<\/a> und <a href=\"https:\/\/cals.cornell.edu\/maureen-hanson\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prof. Maureen Hanson<\/a> von der <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cornell.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cornell University<\/a> ausgetauscht <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cornell.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">.<\/a> Dort erm\u00f6glichen die neuesten und anspruchsvollsten High-End-Labortechniken, einschlie\u00dflich der r\u00e4umlichen Transkriptomik und der tiefen RNA-Sequenzierung, eine detaillierte Untersuchung der Rolle fr\u00fcherer oder versteckter Virusinfektionen des darmspezifischen lymphatischen Gewebes in der Pathogenese von ME\/CFS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die bestehende enge Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Klinik Favoriten, der SFU und der Cornell University (USA) wird durch die von der WE&amp;ME Foundation gef\u00f6rderte UNRAVELING ME\/CFS Studie verst\u00e4rkt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wir freuen uns, die Empf\u00e4nger des Johadamis ME\/CFS-Forschungsstipendiums 2023 in H\u00f6he von 100.000 \u20ac f\u00fcr das Projekt &#8222;UNRAVELING ME\/CFS&#8220; bekannt zu geben: Die Rolle versteckter Virusinfektionen im peripheren Blut und im darmspezifischen lymphatischen Gewebe in der Pathogenese von ME\/CFS (Myalgische Enzephalomyelitis\/Chronisches Ersch\u00f6pfungssyndrom) &#8211; eine kontrollierte Querschnittsstudie.
