Thanks to a generous donation from Livia Drennig-Jaruska, 17 works by her father, the artist Wilhelm Jaruska, will be presented at ART&ANTIQUE HOFBURG Vienna and sold to benefit the WE&ME Foundation. The proceeds will support the important work of the foundation and send a strong message of solidarity.
A special event took place in the Knights’ Hall of the HOFBURG Vienna: a virtual tour of the exhibition “Stille – Silence. Bilder, Worte, Klänge” (Silence. Images, Words, Sounds) (summer 2025, Museum Rudolf Stolz, Sesto/South Tyrol). Children from South Tyrol guided visitors through works that conveyed feelings of exhaustion and isolation as well as hope and confidence with poetic texts they had written themselves.
The evening was complemented by Chris Lohner, who recited texts and poems on the theme of “silence.” The musical accompaniment for the event was provided by Prof. Julius Berger, whose cello sounds filled the room in a special way.
