This year, the Salzburg Marathon will once again host the One Mile For A Smile – Inclusion Run by Coca-Cola – Salzburg Marathon, where we will once again be running for ME/CFS research. Click here for information about the run.

The race numbers have already been paid for and are therefore free of charge for all participants in the ME/CFS team. You can reserve your race numbers with us now. To register, simply send a short email with the names of the participants and a postal address for sending the race numbers to: MECFS-Lauf2026@gmx.at. The race numbers will then be sent out along with further information (meeting point, race registration, photo opportunity after the race, supporting program after the race) and a request for a donation to the WE&ME Foundation (https://donate.weandmecfs.org/en-us/ – reference: Inclusion Run 2026!).
For organizational reasons, early registration is requested. The registration deadline for the
ME/CFS team is April 20, 2026.
Donations up to €20,000 will be doubled!
When: Saturday, May 16, 2026
Time: approx. 6:30 p.m.
Where: Salzburg Volksgarten
What: Participants will run or walk 1–2 laps (max. 1,920 m) together. Donations will also be collected for the WE&ME Foundation (Together we will cure ME/CFS • WE&ME Foundation).
As a reminder, last year more than 300 people ran for ME/CFS research. This raised over €30,000 for the WE&ME Foundation for research.
All interested parties, families, friends, and supporters of ME/CFS research are cordially invited to participate in the run and donate again this year.
The run is about raising awareness for ME/CFS: the more participants, the better. Visibility is again provided by pins from the WE&ME Foundation; banners and placards are expressly welcome.
