In September 2025, Seestadt Wien was transformed into a sporting center of solidarity under ideal running conditions: over 500 runners and Nordic walkers took part in the WE&ME Seestadt Run. The charity run was organized by WAT Wienläuft in collaboration with Sportpool Wien and the WE&ME Foundation. The aim of the event was to raise funds to support the WE&ME Foundation in the fight against ME/CFS.
